This is one of our favorite coffees this year! A light roasted coffee that starts with a sweet cocoa and floral aroma. The cup brings out complex fruit flavors, sweet herbal notes, lemon acidity and a marzipan body along with a sweet and savory finish. Overall, it's a very unique cup with tons of depth and dynamics. You can also enjoy this hot or iced!

Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Gedeb GrainPro coffee is sourced from family-owned farms organized around the Kokanna coffee mill located in Gedeb District, Gedeo Zone, Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region, Ethiopia. The Kokanna mill is located in a beautiful valley in the town of Kakanna, approximately 60 kilometers from the town of Yirgacheffe. Small coffee farmers deliver ripe cherries to the Kokanna mill where the cherries are sorted and pulped. After pulping, the beans are fermented for 36 to 48 hours and then washed. The wet beans in parchment are placed on raised drying beds in thin layers and turned every 2 to 3 hours during the first few days of the drying process. Depending on weather, the beans are dried for 10 to 12 days until the moisture in the coffee beans is reduced to 11.5 percent. Then the beans are transported to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, to be milled and bagged prior to export.
